VT corsets and masks dance

This weekend sees The Velvet Thorn celebrate its eighth birthday and yesterday was also International Fetish Day. To celebrate these two things VT's dance yesterday had the theme of "corsets and masks". It was decided that I'd corset and mask up in a very fetishy way and, after much deliberation, Mistress went looking much more elegant.

As normal, while at the dance, I took plenty of photos around us. You can find them all in an album over on imgur.

As for my outfit... Mistress and I had actually decided it the day before (which was necessary as I wasn't going to be getting into SL until about 1/2 hour before the dance started). She seemed to like it so much that she locked the whole thing on me and also cuffed my arms high up behind my back (only letting them down for the dance). I had rather hoped she'd keep me in the outfit a little longer after the dance. It seems that was her plan.

When we retired to the bedroom, ready to log off, rather than us both climbing into bed and snuggling up she rezzed out a Z&A Scarecrow at the foot of the bed, locked me onto it and then undressed and climbed into bed on her own!

So this is how I woke up this morning:

I'm stuck like this until I next see Mistress (yes, not even a timer applied), helpless and waiting for her to release me. Worse still, I can't even enjoy the sight of her laying in our bed.

It's going to be a long, and lovely, day. <3

VT pet show dance

Yesterday afternoon VT held its last dance in the venue that was put out last Friday. The theme this time was "Pet Show", the idea being that the ladies bring along and show off their pet, more or less.

I figured Mistress' choice for me for this dance would be pretty obvious. She does love my pony gear, and I do have a latex puppy suit kicking about too. It seemed obvious that she'd be going with one of those, or something similar.

Oh was I wrong.

So wrong!

Yes, she decided that what she wanted for the dance as a pet spider! And so she got a pet spider, of course.

VT safari dance

Starting yesterday VT's dance set has gone a bit wild, having a safari feel/theme. The first dance in the new set was, unsurprisingly, safari-themed. This seemed like the perfect opportunity for me to drag out my lion costume (lost worn for a Raven Park dance), and Mistress went for a very cute safari/tourist look.

New shoes and boots

This week seems to have turned into the week where I discover that there are some good heels (in the female sense) on the grid that will fit a male shape. Earlier this week I was over at Bax, picking up something else, when I noticed that their "Foxy" boots were of a shape that might actually fit my leg. While it was never going to be perfect they have a turned-over cuff that would hide most issues. So I grabbed the demo and... pretty much perfect!

There was an issue with the alpha in that it obviously wasn't designed for a male leg inside a female-oriented boot but, with Mistress' help (she's the one handy at tweaking alphas) I had an alpha that was pretty much perfect, and so I had a pair of ankle boots that worked!

Mistress rather approved of this and now I've got a slowly-growing wardrobe of outfits that have thse boots in them (mostly outfits with skirts, although she does rather like this smoking jacket look -- one that was of her own design).

One thing I've always fancied in SL is a good pair of thigh-high boots that fit a male avatar. Aside from one pair of ballet boots (from *KaS*, which are awesome but not quite what I want for everyday wear) I've never found anything.

Until yesterday.

Mistress and I popped over to Schadenfreude to look for something else and she happened to notice a pair of thigh-high boots there. Thinking they'd not really work I went to grab the demo and noticed it actually contained a version designed for male shapes (as well as female, of course). One demo-trying session later and I was sold!

So that's me kitted out with a couple of pairs of everyday-wear heeled boots.

I've also started to experiment with a footstep sound HUD I found and that's working out rather well too. I rather suspect my outfit folder is going to grow quite a bit over the next few weeks. ;)

VT new year dance

The snow set that was out at Velvet Thorn all December is finally gone (that's not "finally" as in "thank fuck it's gone", that's "finally" as in "it was lovely and awesome and now it's time for a change") and, yesterday, was replaced with a huge bed/bedroom. The first dance in this new set was pretty much a no-theme dance, just something to celebrate the fact that it's the start of a new year.

Mistress and I try our best to get to every Friday dance that Miss Eve DJs but, on alternate weekends, I can only get there about 1/2 hour before things kick off. This means that, even though Mistress selects my outfit anyway every week, she normally has to have mine decided and ready for when I log in (so I can either buy, receive, find in my inventory and then change).

This week, however, given the bed theme, it was decided we should do something PJ-based. We found a couple of full-perm mesh PJ type things on the marketplace and then it was time for me to go until the dance. Mistress said she'd create a couple of textures and packed me off.

There were a few messages via Skype IM after that, but I was told off a little as I was interrupting her being creative and busy and stuff. This got me worried, very worried. When she gets into that zone it almost never ends well for me!

This time, however...... <3

Not only had she made us matching his'n'hers TARDIS PJs in just a couple or so hours, she'd even put matching quotes on the back FROM MY FAVOURITE NEW-WHO EPISODE!

I can't even begin to describe how happy and amazed I was, and how lucky I felt.

So off to VT we skipped, all matching and cosy and nerdy...

We went home after the party and snuggled up in bed in matching PJs... :D <3
