Yesterday afternoon VT went all emerald and started off the use of the new dance set with Miss Eve DJing a St. Patrick's day dance. Mistress and I went as green as we could, and I even wore a little thing on my head that Miss Eve gifted me because, apparently, complaining that green is insufficiently black means you need more green...
Despite Mistress' outfit being a little bit see-through, I still somehow managed to let my camera wander the dance set and capture images of those around us. You can see those photos in an album over on Google Photos.

The perils of daring each other
Following on from the previous post...
Miss Eve requested that Mistress and I both write a blog post on the "perils of daring each other". Firstly I'd like to point out that, rather than dare her, I warned her against doing it -- I did mention there could be dire consequences (or something like that; I'm sure I said it wasn't the best idea; she even admits in her own blog that I didn't dare her) -- and I did even capture photographic evidence of her misbehaviour...
But still, we do have this little habit of daring each other to do things; especially when it comes to amusing Miss Eve; because who doesn't love putting a smile on the face of Miss Eve? And I'm fairly sure we always put a smile on Miss Eve's face.
But there are perils involved, of course. With amusement comes a requirement to not be seen to be encouraging bad or bratty behaviour -- especially when you're in a position like Miss Eve is.
Sadly, we don't seem to remember that when we're both sat in the living room, sniggering over our keyboards, giggling about how funny it all is and how amused Miss Eve will be.
And so the perils of daring each other -- on the rare occasion that we do -- are that we'll end up being punished by Miss Eve. Which means, in this case, not being allowed to finish off 50 Linden Friday, or hit some other event before bedtime, or possibly even skip around L$60 tomorrow morning -- at least for the first hour or however long the timers are on our cells (if Miss Eve even left the timers running).
I'm sure we've learnt our lesson. There's no way we'd trade liberty for a chance to amuse Miss Eve ever again.
And we both *hate* being locked in a cell!

Well shit!
So, earlier this evening, Mistress and I attended a dance at VT. As usual the set was built by Miss Eve and, as usual, it was a vision of perfection. Every prim in its proper place. Every bit of mesh carefully chosen. Every texture and material layer carefully considered. No changes needed. No additions requires.
Mistress, against my advice, decided that it needed a little... something.
Fast forward an hour and, just after the dance, we're out shopping when it becomes very clear that Miss Eve had noticed Mistress' "enhancement". The order that came though was very clear: we had to both get home and get into our cells (as I've mentioned on this blog before, we built custom ones for our house and we have one each).
Mistress sent me home to mine right away (thanks to the wonders of the Z&A Sub HUD) but she.... was slow to get to hers. So, trying to follow Miss Eve's orders, I sent Mistress a force TP to to my cell.
Sadly that didn't go down so well with Miss Eve either. And because the cell is a Z&A cell it does the right thing and stops you from TPing someone out of it. So now I couldn't send Mistress to hers, she couldn't open the door (obviously -- we were both inside it). We were....stuck and unable to follow Miss Eve's very clear order.
Thankfully, again down to the brilliant design of Z&A cells, Miss Eve is on the whitelist and can always operate our cells (in case we both get stuck in them). So we had to ask her to come over and rescue us.
Which she did.
Miss Eve was then kind enough to open the doors, drag Mistress out and into her own cell, then close the doors and lock them both; leaving us with strict instructions to write two blog posts each. This being the first of them, this one being the one to describe the "clusterfuck" (as Miss Eve so delightfully put it) that was us trying to follow a simple order.
The second is to come...

VT winging it dance
Yesterday's dance at VT, with Purple doing the DJing, had the theme of wings, or birds, that sort of thing. Mistress was very clear about my outfit choice -- a small part of something I'd purchased at C88 recently -- and once I'd changed even locked me down in it so I had no choice. She, of course, looking stunning too.
Sadly tiredness took its toll on her and she had to head to bed about 1/2 way through the dance; I stuck around until near the end and took plenty of photos along the way.
I did my usual thing of letting my camera wander and, in doing so, caught photos of plenty of other people at the dance. You can find all the images in an album over on Google Photos.

VT back in black dance
Miss Eve rolled out a new dance set at VT yesterday and she also kicked off dances in it by DJing a "Back in Black" party. Thankfully, unlike the last time there was a similar theme at VT, I was allowed to raid my wardrobe for something black (so of course I used a few things from it and bought a brand new dress).
While dancing I, of course, did my usual thing and had a good look around me and took photos of everyone else at the dance. You can see the album of images over on Google Photos.
