VT works of art party

Yesterday was the start of another week of VT themed dances, this time taking place inside a huge art studio. Miss Eve was DJing and the theme was "works of art".

Mistress and I were very short on time to get ready yet, somehow, she managed to quickly create a matching pair of dresses for us!

My camera spent some time flying around the room, checking all the angles, and caught photos of everyone else around us. You can find the results in an album over on imgur.

VT BBQ

Yesterday afternoon VT's beach dance set was the scene for a BBQ party, with Purple as the DJ. Mistress and I dressed for eating out on the beach, with Mistress going a little smarter than I did (which isn't unusual).

This was also a significant dance for us. While, by the calendar, the date is a couple of days later, the dance itself is the same-timed one as the one last year where I dared to ask Mistress if she'd care to join me for an 80s-style dance (and she said yes). This year we did that dance from the same physical RL room. :)

As usual, I let my camera roam around the dance and I took photos of those there with us. You can find them all in an album over on imgur.

Sadly, that's the last of Purp's dances until (I think) September. I'll miss them.

VT beach party

VT's new week of dances kicked off yesterday with Miss Eve DJing on a nice sandy beach. Unsurprisingly the dress theme was to dress for a beach, which Mistress and I both did.

Given how amazing everyone looked I, of course, took photos of those around us. You can find those photos in an album over on imgur.

Parcel Settings Checker

This is something I wrote earlier this year, and which I wish I'd thought to write a lot sooner. On Raven Park there's a handful of plots that are for rent and, as part of those rentals, there's a few rules to keep things safe and clean. Two big ones are that you don't have public build turned on, and that you also don't have ban lines (security tools are fine -- but no ban lines please, they're ugly!). So, of course, every so often, I had to fly around the region and check settings.

Which was a silly thing to do when I could have a script do the job for me! It was quick and easy to write and I thought I should finally publish it here in case it was useful to someone:

Of course, what you should do is change the value of EMAIL_REPORT_TO so that it points to an email address you want the report sent to (or leave it empty if you'd prefer it to be sent via IM). If you want to check other settings on a plot you can modify the code of ReportOnParcelAt. As it's written it does a check every six hours. If you want to change that just modify the value passed to llSetTimerEvent.

Hope it's helpful to someone else.

VT purple dance

Yesterday's dance at VT was, I think it's fair to say, a little ironic. The theme was purple and, normally, a Wednesday dance would have Purple as the DJ but it seems RL had him so Miss Eve was in charge of the stream instead.

As for Mistress' and my outfits.... well, we did purple.

As always happens, I allowed my camera to wander and take photos of those around us. You can find them all over in an album on imgur.

VT elegance dance

VT's new week of dances kicked off yesterday with Miss Eve DJing a dance whose theme was "elegance". Quite simply the idea was... dress in something that makes you feel elegant. So Mistress and I did just that.

As usual, I flew my camera around the room and caught images of those around us. You can find them in an album over on imgur.
